Casino Remains Closed
As reported by the ABC News:
"The Mono Wind Casino remains closed and faces
some tough decisions after a court ruling on Tuesday.
"It was not just customers wondering when
they'll be back in business. Several dozen employees
showed up in court Tuesday to find out if they'll
be going back to work anytime soon.
"The casino will not say what the future holds.
"The tribe that operates Mono Wind Casino
had hoped the judge would reverse his order and
give the $175,000 taken last week back.
"Last Wednesday, the Fresno County Sheriff's
Department served the casino with paperwork, demanding
money for a wrongful termination won by former general
manager Michael Troilo.
"The casino handed over the cash and voluntarily
decided to temporarily close…"
