County Votes for Casino
As reported by the Wichita Eagle:
"Sumner County on Tuesday became the second
county in south-central Kansas to vote in favor
of a casino, should the Legislature pass expanded
gambling in Kansas.
"In
a mail-in advisory referendum, residents approved
building a casino by about 2,000 votes.
"They
joined Harvey County residents, who approved
a casino last week…"
