Singapore Problem Gambling Council Chosen

"The president and CEO of United Industrial
Corporation, Mr Lim Hock San, has been appointed
Chairman of the National Council on Problem Gambling.
"He will head a 15-member team with expertise
and experience in public communications, psychiatry
and psychology, counselling and rehabilitative services.
"The Ministry of Community Development, Youth
and Sports says the council will serve a two-year
term beginning 31st August.
"…The council will provide advice and
feedback to the ministry on public education programmes
to promote public awareness on problem gambling…"
