By staffO2 and Betfair are launching a revolution
in interactive gaming. The UK mobile network operator
and betting exchange are to combine their talents
to bring online gambling to O2’s XDA II handheld
PDA users.
The new innovation will offer previously unavailable
betting options via WAP, allowing Betfair customers
to gamble whilst on the move. The new software,
developed by Rapid Mobile, will give mobile users
exactly the same features as available online, including
up-to-the-minute odds.
The service will work exclusively with an O2 Xda
II PDA device, which will be free to users who sign
