Online Casino Players to Complete e-Commerce Survey
IGC Asks Online Casino Players
to Complete e-Commerce Survey By staffThe Interactive
Gaming Council has requested e-commerce consumers,
from online gamblers and shoppers to people who
use online banking, to take a survey in a bid to
find information on consumer confidence. The survey,
which was put together by Sydney professor, Rohan
Miller, aims to discover what confidence consumers
have, or do not have with e-commerce websites.
'This survey deals with the key issues that all
of us engaged in e-commerce face daily, whether
we are selling products such as software or books
or CDs or services such as banking or hotel reservations
or offering a game of blackjack, and that issue
is trust. Anyone managing an e-commerce site needs
to know what qualities matter to a consumer when
he/she is deciding whether to trust a site with
their hard-earned money,' says IGC Executive Director
Rick Smith.
The survey can be found here online and takes five
to 10 minutes to complete.
