Glavine questions why the government is announcing
funds for the development of a gaming strategy
and an advertising campaign 3 days before Christmas.
"'It
seems like the government is trying to lessen
the blow to many families who are suffering
this year because of addiction to VLTs.' Glavine
said.
"…The
Department of Health Promotion announced today
$200,000 to be spent on an advertising campaign
and another $75,000 on the development of a
gaming strategy…"
