Left to Sign Up for Casino Hearings
As reported by the Mercury News:
"Anyone wishing to address the Pennsylvania
Gaming Control Board about a proposed slots
parlor in the township has two weeks to register
for the April 28 public input hearing.
"The
gaming board is conducting 13 days of hearings
at nine locations across the state. Boyd Gaming
Corp., the applicant seeking a license for Limerick,
will be one of three applicants giving presentations
at 8:30 a.m. April 28 in Allentown's Crowne
Plaza Hotel, where Tropicana PA LLC will make
its case for a facility in Allentown and Sands
Bethworks Gaming LLP will lobby for one in South
Bethlehem.
"Among
the community groups that plan to attend the
hearing is the National Coalition Against Legalized
Gambling.
"...In
all, the gaming board has received 17 applications
for stand-alone slots parlors, five of which
will be approved.
