Casino Details Revealed

"Local government and business leaders
learned additional details of the Osage Million
Dollar Elm Casino planned for the rural Osage
County area west of Bartlesville as part of
an Eggs & Issues Morning Forum sponsored
by the Bartlesville Area Chamber of Commerce
today.
"As a crowd
of approximately 150 finished their breakfast
at the Bartlesville Community Center, a panel
comprised of the project architect, the casino's
marketing director and two officials from the
city of Sand Springs, addressed business and
tourism-related issues.
"Scott
Amber of Ambler Architects told chamber members
that before undertaking the project, he had
visited other tribe-operated casinos in the
Tulsa area.
"…He
said the proposed 35,000 square foot gaming
facility, which was scheduled to have a formal
groundbreaking at 1 p.m. today, would be 'first
class.'
