Casinos Profit Up
Gateway Casinos Income Fund
(TSX:GCI.UN) says its fourth-quarter profit
rose to $8.7 million, from a year-earlier $6.3
million, on higher revenue.
"Earnings
for the quarter ended Dec. 31 amounted to 33
cents a share, compared with 24 cents per share
a year ago, the Vancouver-based company said
Tuesday.
"Revenue
rose to $26.1 million from $24.3 million.
"For
the full year, earnings rose to $35.8 million
or $1.35 a share, from $32.8 million or $1.24
per share in 2004. Annual revenue increased
6.5 per cent to $102.7 million.

fund operates the Burnaby Casino in B.C., the
Palace Casino in Edmonton and the Lake City
Casinos in Kamloops, Kelowna, Penticton and
Vernon, B.C."
