Son Threatened,
Woman Robbed of Casino Winnings
As reported by the Buffalo
News: "A 9-year-old Buffalo boy was threatened
and his 27-year-old mother was robbed of $1,000
Sunday morning on the city's West Side, police
said.
"She had just won a portion of
the cash, $700, at the casino, officers said.
"Central District police said the victim
was driving with her 9-year-old son when she
pulled over at 14th and Vermont streets at about
3:30 a.m. because she saw a man she knew.
"...Police said the man jumped into her
vehicle and began poking her son in the side
with a knife when she refused to hand over her
purse..."
