Progressive
Gaming Responds to Lawsuit
Dec. 15, 2005--Progressive Gaming
International Corporation (NASDAQ: PGIC) a leading
provider of diversified products and services
used in the gaming industry worldwide announced
today that the recent press release by Interactive
Systems Worldwide Inc. (ISWI) alleging patent
infringement is without merit.
Executive
Vice President and General Counsel Rob Ziems
stated: "We believe this claim is baseless
and cannot be supported by the facts. Our real-time
wagering system uses a live person to establish
available wagers vs. relying on a computer to
calculate and change odds based on wagers received.
As such, we believe the methodology utilized
by our system does not infringe the ISWI patents.
We take pride in the strength of our intellectual
property and the extensive research that is
performed in the development of our gaming innovations."
