California Woman Wins Penny Slot Jackpot

California resident Nancy Harlan's hopes were answered early Sunday, November 13 when she won Aristocrat's Millioni$er $500,000 Grand Jackpot at the Bear River Casino in Loleta, Calif.

"I just kept thinking 'please let someone who really could use the money win the big jackpot,'" Harlan said. "Then I hit that baby!"

The 53-year old retired truck driver said she'll use the money to pay bills and take her two grandsons to Hawaii. "It will be a great Christmas present for my grandkids," she said.

Harlan said that Aristocrat's Millioni$er local-area progressive is the game she plays the most. "I'm stuck on Aristocrat's penny machines and I always play Millioni$er because it pays off good," she said. She had invested less than $40 when she won the Millioni$er top award.
