Hits Jackpot at Terrible's
Caryl Jo of Madrid may have a
newfound interest in reruns of the sitcom Beverly
Hillbillies. She is the latest jackpot winner
at Terrible's Lakeside Casino where she hit
the jackpot yesterday on a penny slot game called
"TV Hits, The Beverly Hillbillies."
The game is a wide area progressive which accumulates
by play from several Iowa casinos.
"I thought
I had won about three dollars!" Caryl said
about her winnings. "The player next to
me had to point out that I had hit the jackpot!"
she added. Caryl was unsure about plans for
her winnings.
The
Beverly Hillbillies slot machine network is
one of the newest at the casino and has been
extremely popular. "We have had a lot of
players who really enjoy this series of games,"
said Tom Timmons, General Manager for Terrible's
Lakeside Casino. "I certainly understand
why -- $221,000 buys a lot of Texas tea!"
