Plans Boosted by Rival's Withdrawal

Evening Times: "Plans for a £120
million super casino at Ibrox have been boosted
after Manchester United scrapped proposals to
build a Las Vegas-style complex at Old Trafford.
"…The
US gaming giant and Rangers have planning permission
for a super casino at Ibrox as part of a £200m
leisure and housing development.
"Final approval for the giant leisure
complex rests with the government, which will
initially back just one site in the UK.
"…Under the Ibrox plans, the casino
would be built in a complex alongside a new
Rangers megastore, shops, bars and restaurants…"
