Millions Jackpot Grows to $15 Million
The jackpot is growing once
again in Mega Millions. Less than a week after
a ticket sold in Norwalk, Ohio won an estimated
$15 million jackpot, Mega Millions excitement
is building. A total of 346,645 tickets from
coast to coast were winners in the Tuesday,
January 10, 2006 drawing. Since no ticket matched
all six numbers, the jackpot for the Friday,
January 13, 2006 Mega Millions drawing grows
to an estimated $15 million.
Six
tickets missed the jackpot by just one number.
Each matched the first five numbers and only
missed the Mega Ball number. Those tickets were
purchased in California, Georgia, Massachusetts,
New York, Texas and Virginia.
Mega
Millions is played in 12 states: California,
Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts,
Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas,
Virginia and Washington.
