Joins Golden Spirit Board
Golden Spirit Gaming Ltd.
announces the appointment of Abdul Rahman Aref,
President of 4 of a Kind Enterprises, Inc., doing
business as Everything About Poker.com, to the Advisory
Board of the Company as Chairman and a member of
the Management Committee.
Mr. Aref, who was born into a diplomatic family
in Kabul, Afghanistan, was raised and educated in
the United States. Mr. Aref has had extensive experience
and knowledge of the growing world of poker, including
that of a professional poker player; having played
and participated in several major events throughout
California and Nevada.
Mr. Aref's sales, management, and marketing experience
in the Insurance and Car Dealership industries will
greatly benefit Golden Spirit's poker-related merchandising
and event promotion division. He will be responsible
for the recruitment and coordination of sponsorship
for top players like Jean-Robert Bellande to play
under the Company's banner. During this year, Jean-Robert
Bellande has won the largest tournament in the Bicycle
Club in California with a prize of $140,000. He
was also featured in 27 airings of ESPN this month
for his great play in a tournament where he placed
3rd, earning over $220,000. Jean-Robert Bellande
came in 2nd at the Bellagio Tournament in April
2005, earning over $123,000.
