Cold to Casino Idea
As reported by the Banff Crag
& Canyon: "It looks as though Coun.
Ossi Treutler Jr. will have a hard time selling
his casino idea to Banff residents and community
members.
"While
most of his fellow councillors said they appreciate
the effort by Treutler to come up with new ways
to generate revenue in Banff, they are not immediately
sold on the idea of a casino.
"Coun.
Bob Haney told the Crag that he was not in favour
of a Banff casino, mainly due to the social
issues that accompany a casino..."
