Expected in Betting Raid

Post-Crescent: "Charges are expected soon
in a nearly yearlong gambling investigation
involving a $100,000 Super Bowl betting pool.
"Outagamie
County Dist. Atty. Carrie Schneider said Tuesday
she is working on charges against three people
investigators say were involved in two betting
pools.
"On
Feb. 3, agents from the state Department of
Justice Division of Criminal Investigation executed
a search warrant at the Legacy Supper Club,
5334 N. Richmond St., in Grand Chute and seized
more than $100,000 in cash thought to be bets
placed on a Super Bowl wagering board…"
