Racing Industry Gets Tax Break

Zealand: "The racing industry is to receive
a $30 million package of tax-breaks. Details
were announced today at the conclusion of Auckland's
Racing Carnival Week.
"A
key change will see the duty on gambling profits
cut from 17.9% to 4%.
"Racing
Minister, Winston Peters, says that means gaming
duty for the racing industry will be aligned
with that of casinos and provide the industry
with a level playing field…" |
