Dynasty
Gaming, Golden Palace Sign Deal
Dynasty Gaming Inc., a global
online gaming sector leader with a first-to-market
aggregate player, cash-wager version of Mahjong,
today announced the signing of a contract with
Golden Palace Limited. The contract, through
Dynasty's Mahjong Systems Limited subsidiary,
covers the installation and payment of royalties
for the Company's Mahjong Mania gaming software.
Mahjong is acknowledged as the world's most
widely played game.
The
Golden Palace contract is the seventh contract
signed by Dynasty's MSL unit since marketing
of the gaming software began in 2005 and it
comes only a few weeks after a cash-wager version
of Mahjong Mania was launched on the Ladbrokes'
online sports betting site.
Dynasty
Chief Executive Albert Barbusci stated, "We
are delighted to have entered into an agreement
with Golden Palace, particularly as it is one
of the world's leading online casino operators
with a very substantial North American client
base. This represents a win for their customers
as well as for our company. We recognized from
the outset of our marketing efforts that signing
contracts with even a small number of leaders
in the online gaming sector would generate a
broad interest for our gaming software amongst
a wide range of online casino and sports betting
operators."
"The
increased level of enquiries we have received
in recent weeks suggests that this wider interest
is beginning to show itself," continued
Mr. Barbusci. "The signing of Golden Palace,
coupled with the recent signing of Ladbrokes,
clearly illustrates the increasing demand for
a cash-wager version of Mahjong."
Richard
Rowe, Chief Executive of Golden Palace Limited,
said, "Our research has shown the importance
of continually adding quality gaming products
to our mix of cash-wager offerings. We are confident
that demand exists within our client base for
an online version of cash-wager Mahjong, already
the most widely played game in the world. It
is our intention to have the game installed
and ready for play within the next three months."
Mahjong
Mania is the first-to-market version of an online,
aggregate, cash-wager Mahjong game. Dynasty
Gaming, through MSL, derives income from software
licensing fees as well as a royalty or share
of rake from each game played on the sites of
those operators licensing the Mahjong Mania
software. Dynasty's 76.9 million common shares
are widely held by U.S., U.K. and Canadian investors.
