Casino Expands
As reported by the Arizona Republic:
" Gila River Casinos has broken ground
on an $8 million expansion of its Vee Quiva
Casino. The expansion will add up to 11,000
square feet and about 300 new parking spaces.
"The
casino, operated by Gila River Gaming Enterprises
Inc., is expanding to keep pace with the robust
growth in the southwest Valley. Vee Quiva sits
off 51st Avenue south of Interstate 10.
"The
expansion will include a new bingo hall, full-service
bar and renovated restaurant. Vee Quiva also
will get more slot machines and tables for poker
and blackjack. The project is expected to be
complete in late September, said John Cirrincione,
casino general manager…"
