of Capri Creates Vice Chairman Post
Isle Of Capri Casinos
Inc., an operator of dockside, riverboat, and
land-based casinos, said Monday it tapped Robert
S. Goldstein, son of Chairman and Chief Executive
Bernard Goldstein, for the new role of executive
vice chairman.
The younger Goldstein has been a director
of Isle of Capri since 1993 and is currently
chairman and CEO of scrap metal recycler Alter
Trading Corp. Isle of Capri said the new position
adds more leadership to help position the company
for more growth and development.
Separately, Isle of Capri said its board authorized
the repurchase an additional 1.5 million shares
under its buyback plan. The company currently
has about 30 million shares outstanding.
Shares of Isle of Capri rose 73 cents, or 3.6
percent, to $20.80 in morning trading on Nasdaq.
