Sues Casino Queen
As reported by the Madison County
Record: "A woman who claims she suffered
"grievous pain and mental anguish"
after falling down a staircase at the Casino
Queen in East St. Louis is suing for damages
in excess of $50,000.
"In
her suit filed in St. Clair County Dec. 28,
Joyce Warnecke claims the casino failed to exercise
reasonable care to protect her safety.
"According
to the complaint, Warnecke fell in a back staircase
between the first and second floors on Jan.
2, 2004.
"She
claims the casino failed to warn her that the
staircase was in a dangerous condition…"
