Interactive
Games to Enter AWP Redemption Market
Interactive Games Inc. a developer
and licensor of specialty slot machine and mobile
entertainment software to the casino gaming
and wireless entertainment industry today announced
plans to enter the AWP redemption market under
which the company will begin producing its proprietary
brand of video redemption gaming terminals by
March 06'. The Company will brand the games
as "Interactive Video Redemption Terminals"
or "IVRs" for locations throughout
South Florida in adult arcades, amusement centers
as well as existing operations through participating
state operators.
"The
video redemption market has seen a remarkable
increase, especially with recent legislation
in Florida and additional states for Class III,
or Las Vegas style gaming at paramutual facilities.
Our games will cater to those who may not frequently
travel to the horse and dog track to play, but
to their local shopping centers seeking the
safe and friendly environment of a recreation
or amusement center," stated Michael Friedman
spokesperson for Interactive Games. The Interactive
redemption games will have similar "look
and play" as video slots machines, but
will be designed for "skilled play"
with redemption gift payouts as set forth under
Florida state statute guidelines.
"Our
game design team based in Las Vegas, has developed
some of the most popular games and slot machine
titles played in most casinos across America.
We plan to bring new and engaging content to
our own platform and operator locations that
we believe will compete and with what is already
within the redemption marketplace. Our goal
would be to place at least 350 to 500 machines
over the next 4 months between 4 or 5 operators.
Typically, these machines in popular locations
will hold anywhere from $40.00 to $80.00 a day
or higher. Interactive Games would receive up
to 30% per day for participation, placement
and maintenance for our operator locations.
We have indications of three new operations
now, with the first to be open sometime in March
06. Our production of the IVRs can begin at
approximately 100 machines per week as needed
using gaming software of popular titles, and
new redemption games and titles beginning in
March 06 as well," stated Friedman.
