On 24 August 2005 Hurricane Katrina hit the American
Gulf coast leaving mass destruction in its wake.
With hundreds tragically losing their lives and
thousands left desolate and homeless, the area has
been put into a state of emergency. The Salvation
Army is mobilized in the area providing food and
relief to the thousands affected by the devastation.
"We applaud the work of the Salvation Army
and hope our contribution will be put to good use,"
says Green.
