Cyberview
Technology, Great Wall Gaming Sign Deal
Cyberview Technology, a leader
of new technology for the gaming industry, today
announced that it has entered into a long-term agreement
with Great Wall Gaming, Ltd. The deal covers future
distribution of the company's server-based systems
by Great Wall for the projected development of casinos
in Japan and the resulting need for the latest in
slot machine technology. With this new agreement,
the two companies are extending a relationship that
currently includes Great Wall providing game content
for the company's distributed downloadable system,
which has been the recipient of numerous awards
for its innovations to the casino industry. The
new agreement is contingent on the passage of legislation
authorizing casino gaming in Japan.
Great Wall Gaming, headquartered in Las Vegas, specializes
in the development and marketing of ethnic slot
games and gaming equipment in the European and Asian
gaming markets, and is led by Jackie Yee, identified
as one of the top Asian gaming executives for nearly
three decades. One of Great Wall's Asian slot games,
"Ye Ha Hai," was voted one of the best
new games by industry peers late last year and now
is being released for use on the Cyberview system.
"It is widely anticipated that Japan will
legalize casino gaming in the near future,"
states Roy Student, President of Cyberview Technology.
"The contacts and experience that Mr. Yee and
his company can provide in this market will be invaluable
to our success in the market," he continued.
"Our research indicates that there are five
million pachinko machines operating in Japan producing
more than 200 billion U.S. dollars annually, making
it potentially the largest gaming market in the
world and a significant opportunity for both our
companies."
"We are confident that we can assist Cyberview
in becoming a dominant player in the Japanese market,"
commented Jackie Yee, Chairman of Great Wall Gaming.
"Our companies are currently developing several
new ethnic slot games that specifically target the
Russian and Asian gaming markets, and we look forward
to extending our relationship with the world leader
in distributed technology," Yee concluded.
