Bets on Favorites
Week eight of the NFL schedule
is littered with large spreads, but that has
not deterred bettors at Sportsbook.com from
laying their money on the favorites heading
into this weekend's action.
In six games
with spreads at eight points or more bettors
have so far backed only one of the underdogs
- San Francisco who faces the week's largest
spread at 11 points against Tampa Bay. Cincinnati,
Carolina, New England, Dallas and Pittsburgh
are all 8 to 10 point favorites in their games
and are all being heavily backed.
Action
is tighter in the two marquee match-ups this
week with 58 per cent of bettors backing the
underdog Chiefs at San Diego to cover the 6.5
point spread while 55 per cent feel the favored
Broncos will cover their 3.5 point spread at
home to the Eagles.
