has won an auction for a hot dog with a bid
of $1800 US.
The
Seattle Super Dog is not just any dog but one
that was purchased during the Seattle Seahawks
NFC Championship game against the Carolina Panthers
towards the end of the 3rd quarter at QWEST
Field during the NFC CHAMPIONSHIP game. It quickly
became THE hottest hot dog on eBay with over
350,000 views.
Controversy
swirled around the auction as the price for
the dog grew continually until it was discovered
that there were many false bids. The auction
was then reset to include only bidders that
could cut the mustard.

won with a bid of $1800 US and will soon be
in possession of the Super Dog which is now
vacuum sealed and frozen for freshness.
As
it is the case with many of the purchases GoldenPalace.com
has made in the past, a portion of the proceeds
from the sale will go to charity. In this instance,
the Grant Wistrom Foundation which works to
positively affect the lives of children, especially
those afflicted with cancer. The Foundation
is recognized as a non-profit organization and
funding comes solely from annual fund raising
events and corporate and public contributions.
