LONDON - The Football Association is investigating reports that a soccer star with a gambling addiction accepted a 50,000 pound (C$100,334) bribe from a bookmaker to throw a game.

Arsne Wenger, the Arsenal manager, believes that the player who allegedly fixed a match to pay off a 50,000 gambling debt should be named, shamed and banned from the game for life.
