A casino near Mulvane will produce more revenue for the state than one near Wellington, according to a study for the Kansas Lottery. The study by Christiansen Capital Advisors projects that the Mulvane location will generate $213.5 million a year in gross gambling revenue, compared to $166.5 million at Wellington. Kansas is to get 22 percent of casino revenues, meaning it would get $46.9 .

The B.C. government is hiring nine so-called "responsible gambling information officers" to educate casino staff and patrons about problem gambling.
