Wakefield Council Bet on Casino
As reported by the Wakefield Today: "Wakefield Council's cabinet committee is set to give the go-ahead to a proposal for a super casino at the Xscape complex in Glass Houghton next week.
"A report says the casino would be 5,000sq m, with 1,250 jackpot machines, bingo and betting.
"It says: "The economic benefits include an estimated 1,500 full-time equivalent jobs at the casino and up to 6,000 jobs in the local supply chain" "
